Texas instrument社のspeak &spellです。
スティーヴン・スピルバーグ監督の映画「ET」にも出ていて、劇中では地球に取り残されたETが母船と交信するのに使われていた機械です。
30数年前に米国カリフォルニア州サンフランシスコ郊外サンタクルーズに住んでいた時に購入した古いものです。
最近は人気が出てきたレアな玩具です。

気に入って時々使用してましたので電池を入れ替えていました。
電池を入れる部分も写真を撮りましたが、どちらの電極にもサビや液漏れ等はなくきれいな状態です。
今回出品するにあたり、新しい電池を入れて動作も確認しています。
SPELL→ON→GOで始める10問出題では、入力して「wrong！」「your right！」等言われ、全問正解すると「perfect score！」と言ってくれるなんだか嬉しくなる楽しい機械です。
